Yoga has been a consistent & pivotal part of Katie’s life since her mom took her to her first yoga class when she was 17. Although she stumbled in and out of every pose, laughing her way through the class, the positive impact of that time on the mat was felt. So she kept going back. As a teacher, she strives to create a warm, welcoming and safe space, with an air of joy and playfulness, for people to move, feel, express, release, breathe and just be. She knows the power of the practice to heal, change and transform us. Her hope is that each practice brings you more peace, taking you closer to the truth that is the essence of your being, and that you leave feeling lighter, happier, and more connected to the greatness of this life that we all share.
