Simone Vavra

Simone's (she/her) teaching style is light, fun, playful, and soul-filled, creating a sense of gentle ease. Simone's deepest intention is for her students to leave each class feeling more deeply connected to their truest selves, gently peeling away the layers to their radiant hearts. She guides her students toward quieting the mind and opening the heart.

A dedicated yoga and meditation practitioner for 20 years, Simone then began her teaching journey in 2012 with her first 300-hour multi-lineage training. She is influenced and has learned from teachers like Ram Dass, Rod Stryker (Para Yoga), Kevin Courtney (The Eightfold Path), Baron Baptiste (Baptiste Power Yoga), Kim King (Warrior ONE), and many others; she draws inspiration from diverse traditions. With two 300-hour and two 100-hour trainings, her studies explore the many facets of living yoga on and off the mat.

Simone cherishes yoga's ability to create ease and serenity, yoking mind, body, and spirit. A Kirtan Leader Institute graduate, she infuses every class practice with the harmonium's grounding and soothing vibrations.

She joined the Radiate Studio team in the Fall of 2024 and lovingly stepped into the Yoga Studio Manager role in February 2025. She is excited to grow with this compassionate community. Currently, she's deepening her practice and life through a year-long Spirit embodiment study + practice with her teacher, Alison Sinatra, who lives in upstate New York.

Originally from New York, Simone's journey has spanned from Nantucket Island and Park City, Utah, to North Orlando, Florida, and most recently, Aspen and Boulder, Colorado. Her home is now downtown Sebastopol, and she shares it with her partner and two fur babies. You can find her strolling the West County Trail between Sebastopol and Forestville with her dogs, tending to her garden and apothcary, or loving the delights of her town's cozy coffee shops.
