Vickie Morse
Vickie (she/her) started practicing yoga over 35 years ago. As a single mom, it was a valued stress release! Vickie began teaching a group of her fellow equestrians, and in a health club where she also worked on the management team.
A perennial student of yoga, Vickie has developed a style that reflects her varied training from numerous mentors; from Beth Shaw and YogaFit to Ellen Saltonstall and her specialty training in yoga for bone health, and a wide variety in between. Along with traditional Hatha and Vinyasa, Vickie enjoys fusing styles to create a safe and playful practice within a nurturing environment.
While she loves teaching a sweat-producing, heart-pumping power class, Vickie equally enjoys her time working with kids and the senior population; she has certifications in Kids Yoga, Senior Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Yoga for Osteoporosis. She recently completed training as a Matter of Balance Coach, focusing on fall prevention along with balance and exercise.
Vickie lives on a small farm in west county where she raised her two daughters and now shares the property with her youngest daughter and her family, including her grandson. When she’s not teaching yoga she enjoys horseback riding, gardening, hiking, reading and exploring nature with her grandson.
